Updating Zoom

Zoom regularly provides updates to the Zoom desktop client and mobile app. This often brings new features, functionality, security patches and bug fixes to the app and client. We recommend always updating Zoom to the latest version once it is available. Check out Zoom’s release notes to stay updated on the latest Zoom releases.

Required Update (May 6th, 2023)

Update your Zoom software to the latest version before May 6 to avoid access issues. Please see Zoom’s lifecycle policy support page for more information on why Zoom will enforce minimum versions of their product.

After May 6th people running versions older than 5.10.3 will no longer be able to join Georgetown Zoom meetings using the Zoom desktop client and mobile app.
