Purchasing Computers (Institutional)

Institutional purchases using University funds are open to departments and individual GU faculty and staff with spending authority for computer equipment. 

  • Apple Store for Georgetown University – all institutional Apple purchasing should now be done through the GMS Apple Punchout. Staff with a requisitioner role in GMS are able to access the punchout.   • Staples Technology Solutions Store – all Staples purchasing should now be done through the Georgetown Staples Technology Solutions Store. Purchasing Computers (Personal)

All members of the Georgetown community are eligible to purchase hardware, software and other items at a guaranteed discounted price using our preferred vendors. 

Some vendors may provide added incentives, such as an extra year of warranty service, when products are purchased through Georgetown’s online stores.

You can make personal purchases of computers by visiting the Staples Technology Solutions online portal. (Please note that you will need to create an account to access the site.) You can make personal purchase of Apple products (computers, accessories) by visiting the Apple Online Store for Education.
