Getting Started and Access to Gemini
Who has access to Gemini?
- Faculty and Staff
- Full-time faculty and staff may request a Google Gemini AI Pro for Education license on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Adjunct faculty and full-time contingent staff with a business need for Gemini may request a Google Gemini AI Pro for Education license, and UIS will confirm if the request can be accommodated; however, it is based on license availability.
- Students
- All students may opt in to have Gemini for Education enabled on their GU Google Workspace.
- Gemini for Education has lower prompt limits than Google Gemini AI Pro.
Note: Part-time staff do not currently have access to Gemini, but access will be evaluated at a future date
