What is a VPAT?

A VPAT is a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) available from the Information Technology Industry Council. If a VPAT is used, it must use the VPAT 2.1 template or higher, which is based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Since VPATs are vendor self-assessments, they are not sufficient on their own, and the accessibility addendum is still needed.
