Web Accessibility

  • If there is a web or mobile interface (follow these accessibility guidelines):
    • Signed Accessibility Addendum OR Vendor agreement to sign it in the docusign package for the contract. *Requesters will need to provide this to procurement at the conclusion of the review.
      • If the vendor will not agree to the Accessibility Addendum as is, ask if they will redline it and have the Accessibility Team of Web Services review the redlines. The Office of General Counsel might need to be involved at this point, depending on the redlines.
      • If the vendor will not redline or we can not reach an agreement on the redlines, the purchasing department will need to submit an accessibility exception
        • Dean/Vice President and Chief Information Officer needs to sign the accessibility exception in docusign
    • In addition to the Accessibility Addendum, ask the vendor to provide a VPAT
