Georgetown Management System (GMS) Service Advisory, March 14 – 15

Dear Georgetown Community Members:
The Georgetown Management System (GMS) will be unavailable from Friday, March 14, 2025, at 9 p.m. EST to Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 5 p.m. EST in order to implement Workday’s semi-annual system update. The only impact for Georgetown employees will be a temporary inability to access GMS during this outage period. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and will post progress updates to the GMS website.
Workday’s release theme for this upgrade is focused on improving efficiency, enhancing the user experience and advancing their analytical tools for providing better insights for data driven decision making.
Following the update, please refer to the Workday 2025 R1 Employee Quick Reference Guide for more details about the changes. If you manage student employees, please ensure that they are aware of this outage and upcoming changes.
