University Information Services (UIS) provides technology tools and services in support of teaching, learning, and research at Georgetown University. We help connect you to, and engage with, each other and the world.

Who We Are
University Information Services (UIS) is the central information technology department at Georgetown. UIS is committed to supporting Georgetown’s academic and research mission. We believe in using technology to enhance and embolden education and learning at Georgetown—to help unlock and unleash the creativity of our students and faculty members.
UIS is made up of a large group of diverse, talented, and highly committed individuals dedicated to serving Georgetown. We live by the Jesuit values of service to others and collaboration. We strive to build relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, as well as develop technology partnerships with our constituents and third-party technology providers.
What We Do
UIS provides technology support for many services such as Georgetown Google Apps, which includes Gmail, Calendar, and Google Docs. UIS also manages the Georgetown wireless network. We provide support for the academic enterprise by providing academic technology tools and services in support of teaching and learning.
