iClicker Cloud

With iClicker Cloud you can poll students using a number of different question types: multiple-choice, word cloud, open-ended, numeric, and clickable image. Students respond to polls using their mobile device or computer’s web browser. iClicker Cloud can sync your course roster and send poll session scores to your Canvas Gradebook.

Faculty/instructor accounts for iClicker Cloud are free. However, iClicker Cloud student accounts have a 14 day grace period. Once the grace period has ended payment is required for continued use. Please see iClicker pricing for more information.

To ensure students are included in your iClicker Cloud roster, students must use their NetID@georgetown.edu email address when they create their iClicker accounts.

Older setups that use iClicker basestations and iClicker remotes must start using the iClicker Cloud software starting Spring 2024. Using older iClicker basestations and remotes does not require a mobile device and is free for both faculty and students. Support for this tool is provided by iClicker (Macmillan). Georgetown UIS and Canvas help desks will not be able to resolve issues related with this tool.
