Receiving a Fax
When your department receives a fax, an email notification will be sent to each person in your department authorized to receive a fax.
Note: If your department has a secure Box folder (set up by UIS) to receive a fax, and you’re part of your department’s fax Google Group, make sure you can receive email notifications from your Box account. You can do this by performing the following:
- Log in to your Box account, and then click on your department’s Box folder that UIS set up for you.
- Click on the button that contains three horizontal dots, and then select Settings from the drop-down list.
- In the Email and Notifications section, do one of the following:
- Select the option Use my default notification settings if your Box account-level default setting indicates that you receive email notifications for all uploaded documents.
- Select Override default settings (and make sure a check mark appears next to Uploads) if your Box account-level default setting indicates that you don’t receive email notifications for uploaded documents.
- Select the option Use my default notification settings if your Box account-level default setting indicates that you receive email notifications for all uploaded documents.
(Note: To verify your Box account-level setting for notifications, go to All Files, click on your profile at the top right-hand side of your screen, select Account Settings from the drop-down list, click on the Notifications tab, and then confirm that check marks are entered next to Uploads, as shown in the example below.)
