Judd Nicholson Awarded 2021 Global Capital CIO of the Year

Judd Nicholson, Vice President for Information Technology and CIO at Georgetown University, has been named winner of the 2021 ORBIE Award for Global Capital CIO of the Year.
“I am extremely humbled and grateful to lead an extraordinary team of professionals at Georgetown University. This award is because of your hard work and dedication to our mission! Hoya Saxa!”, said Judd.
According to the ORBIE Awards site, “the CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards have recognized technology executives for outstanding leadership”. The ORBIE Awards are given by Capital CIO, the Capital Area’s professional organization for CIOs.
Finalists and winners of the ORBIE Awards are selected by an independent peer review process, led by prior ORBIE recipients, based on leadership and management effectiveness. They come from a multitude of public and private sector industries and businesses.
