DUO OUTAGE FINAL UPDATE (5:33 p.m.): DUO reports that all issues have been resolved. If you continue to have issues, please contact help@georgetown.edu.

DUO OUTAGE UPDATE (12:12 p.m.): DUO performance is slowly improving, but DUO is still reporting issues affecting the university’s two-factor authentication for all Georgetown systems. 

Georgetown users may still experience log-in delays. We do not yet have an estimated time for complete resolution. We will continue to provide updates.

DUO, the university’s two-factor authentication service, is reporting a systemwide outage today (August 21, 2023) that is impacting all of its customers, including Georgetown University.

As a result, your ability to log in to Georgetown system may be affected. We do not yet have an estimated time for resolution.  

Georgetown University Information Systems (UIS) is in contact with DUO and will provide updates.
