Students, faculty, and staff members can order cable TV for their office or residence halls (where available). Our cable TV service provider is RCN.
Cable TV (RCN) service is not supported in the following buildings for academic year 2019-2020: Harbin Hall, New South, Loyola/Xavier/Ryder (LXR), Henle Village, Alumni Square (ASQ), Arrupe Hall, Ryan Hall, Isaac Hawkins Hall, Darnall Hall, Copley, and Southwest Quad (SWQ). Cable TV service is supported only in Village A, Village C, Nevils, and the East Campus townhouses.
Students can choose between the RCN Signature and Limited cable TV plans. Both student and admin cable TV service includes all-digital channels. (For additional cost, you can upgrade to high-definition channels.) Check the Georgetown RCN Web site for plan details, prices, and other promotions.
Students living either in residence halls or in Georgetown-owned townhouses who have questions about cable TV plan details, ordering cable TV service, billing, and other cable TV (and cable-provided WiFi)-related issues, should contact RCN directly at 877-532-4692 (HOYA) or online at GeorgetownSupport@rcn.net. RCN customer service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Faculty and staff who have cable TV-related inquiries should contact the Service Center at 202-4949 or help @ georgetown.edu.
