SERVICES FOR WEB DEVELOPERS

Webspace is available for the following users:

• official university departments
• student organizations with access to benefits
• individual faculty for research and teaching purposes
• individual students for research and/or teaching purposes

Please select one of the following options:

• I am a Web developer for a department.
• I am a student or faculty member seeking individual research webspace.
• I am a Web developer for a student organization with access to benefits.
• I am a student, or faculty or staff member who is a Web developer for an organization without access to benefits.
• I am a staff member with an individual Web site.

SERVICES FOR DEPARTMENTAL WEB DEVELOPERS

If you are a departmental Web developer, please select one of the following options:

• Our departmental Web site exists and I need access.
• Our departmental Web site exists. I am the administrator, and I would like to grant someone else access.
• Our departmental Web site doesn't yet exist.
• Space exists already, we need a domain for it.

You must do two things:

1. Ask the departmental site administrator to e-mail webmaster@georgetown.edu request that you be given access.
2. Fill out the webspace request form.

Our departmental Web site exists. I am the administrator, and I would like to grant someone else access.

2. Have the developer fill out the webspace request form.

Your organization must be granted access to benefits through the Center for Student Porgrams and be listed on this page.

SERVICES FOR STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS WITHOUT ACCESS TO BENEFITS

There is no separate space available to these organizations. You have two options:

• Work through a department to gain sponsorship for your organization. This department will create and manage webspace for you within its departmenal space.
• Create your organization's Web site within an individual's space. You must manage this space and any transfer of ownership.

SERVICES FOR STAFF

There is no separate space available for staff. You may request that your departmental administrator create a folder called "staffspace" and grant you acces to the departmental space to work.
