How to use Telephones and Voicemail

Telephones
Georgetown University voice terminals (telephone sets) are of two basic types: single-line and multi-line.  Both types provide basic telephone service (placing and answering calls) and both types can access some advanced features (call forwarding, call coverage).  Multi-line sets have programmable (abbreviated dialing) buttons for one-touch access to features that single-line users can access only by dialing a series of digits.  Additional voice features can only be activated with the help of the UIS Telecommunications Service Center staff.  Forms, information and further assistance are available at 202-687-4800.

Voicemail
Intuity Audix is the voicemail system that allows Georgetown students and employees to receive voicemail messages from anywhere and to send voice messages to one or several recipients within Georgetown. You can access your voicemail messages from any telephone (on-campus or off-campus, local or long distance). GU employees and students may request voicemail services by calling the UIS Telecommunications Service Center at 202-687-4800.
