HOW TO USE WINDOWS XP: CHANGING A PASSWORD
Only users with Windows XP Computer Administrator accounts may change other user's passwords.
Read Password Security for help with creating a password.
- Click the Start button then click Control Panel.

- In the Control Panel, click User Accounts.

- Click your account.

- Click Change the Password.

- Type a new password, retype the new password to make sure you typed it correctly the first time, then type a password hint to remind you of your password in the future. Click the Change Password button.

- You will go back to the previous window. You can close this window, then the User Accounts window, then the Control Panel.
