HOW TO USE WINDOWS 95 AND 98: A MONTHLY MAINTENANCE ROUTINE FOR YOUR PC

Neglecting your computer can lead to problems which become more costly and serious over time.  The first signs of a PC in need of maintenance are slower than usual performance and more frequent crashes. These symptoms announce the arrival of an insidious threat- the risk of data loss.  The longer your PC is neglected, the greater the chances that you may end up suddenly losing important files.  Fortunately, with just a little preventive maintenance once a month, you can enjoy peak PC performance and greatly reduce the chances of losing data.

Keep your files safe and your PC healthy by following this 3-step routine once a month:

Step 1. Clean out the clutter
: Deleting temporary files

Step 2. Inspect your hard disk: Running ScanDisk

Step 3. Defragment: Using the Disk Defragmenter
