How to Use Spybot 1.4: Running a Spybot Scan

1.  Open Spybot - Search & Destroy.                   

 

 

2.  The main program screen will appear.

 

 

3.  Click on the Check for Problems button.

4.  When the scan completes, any spyware will be listed in the white area of the windows.

5.  If unchecked, check each box next in the results field.

 

6.  Click on the Fix Selected Problems button.

7.  A Confirmation window will appear asking if you want to continue, click the Yes button.

 

 

8.  A Confirmation window will appear stating how many problems were fixed. Click the OK button.

 

 

9.  The scan is complete and the adware and spyware have been removed.
