How to Use Microsoft AntiSpyware: Running a Microsoft Antispyware Scan

1.  Open Microsoft Antispyware.               

 

 

2.  The Microsoft Antispyware window will appear.

 

 

3.  Click on the Run a Quick Scan Now button.

4.  A Scan Completed window will appear.

 

 

5.  Click on the View Results button.

6.  This will bring up the Scan Results button.

 

 

7.  Select the Remove tab from the drop-down box, and Click on Continue button.

8.  The Remove Identified Items from Your Computer window will appear.

 

 

9.  Click on the Yes button.

10.  A Microsoft Antispyware window will appear asking if you would like to restore the default settings to Internet Explorer.

 

 

11.  Click on the Skip button.

12.  The Spyware Cleaning Completed window will appear.

 

 

13.  Click on the OK button.

14.  The scan is complete and the adware and spyware have been removed.
