Secure ComputingSecure computing at Georgetown University is part of a university-wide initiative designed to better protect university computers and data. The goal of secure computing is to reduce the risk of data and computer loss through security controls tailored to fit the user's needs. UIS is charged with helping the university meet this need by providing faculty and staff with the appropriate hardware, software and knowledge required for the protection of all university-owned computers and data.
