UIS Tip of the Week: Aligning Objects in a PowerPoint Slide
I needed to line up a number of objects in one of my slides. I tried to line them up myself, but that was so not going well at all. But I found that there's a way to do this automatically.
In PowerPoint, you can automatically place or align objects evenly with other objects in a slide (without using a guide or grid----or even your eyeballs!).
To align objects in a slide, do the following:
- Select all the objects you want to align or distribute by clicking on them while holding down the Ctrl key.

- Click on the Draw button at the bottom left of your PowerPoint screen.
- Select Align or Distribute from the menu.
- Select an alignment or distribution option from the list of choices.

The objects you selected will be aligned or distributed automatically.
