UIS Tip of the Week: Changing Meeting Color Schemes
GUCalendar currently assigns the meetings I create in Oracle Calendar based on appointment status (accept the meeting, refuse the meeting, don't confirm the meeting, etc.).
This is ok, but I would also like to assign colors to those meetings based on other criteria, such as a meeting's importance. I'd love to have a quick and easy way to get additional information about my meetings without having to open all of them.
Fortunately, Oracle Calendar does just that. Oracle Calendar enables you to assign colors to your meetings based on importance and who owns your meeting (e.g., you or a colleague).
To change the color scheme of your meetings, perform the following:
- Select Options from the Tools menu.

- In the Options window, click on the plus sign next to Agenda, which is located on the left of the window. The current (default) color settings are displayed on the right.
- Click on the down arrow next to the Color meetings by drop-down list and select a category.

The new meeting color scheme is displayed.

- Click OK to accept the new color scheme.
Note: You can always change the color scheme again later.
