Six New Technology-enhanced Classrooms
Six classrooms on Georgetown University's main campus are newly equipped with built-in computer and presentation equipment, allowing more faculty and students to integrate technology into their classes.
Built in to all of the classrooms are an instructor's station with a networked desktop PC and a remote control touchpad for the room's equipment, a video/computer projector, a sound system, VHS and DVD players, and the old standby, an overhead transparency projector. Also included in the rooms are ports for connecting laptop computers to the video system and video and audio ports for connecting camcorders and other personal video devices to the video and audio systems.
The six new technology-enhanced classrooms are Reiss 281 and Reiss 264, Reynolds 131 and Reynolds 133 (in the Southwest Quad), and Walsh 396 and Walsh 398.
Detailed information on these and other technology-enhanced rooms may be found at the CETS Web site at http://www.library.georgetown.edu/dept/cets. To reserve a technology-enhanced room, contact the Office of the University Registrar at 202-687-4020 |
