Personal Purchases
Hoya Computing has negotiated great deals on personal purchases from Apple, Dell, Georgetown's Premier CDW-G Store, and the Georgetown University Bookstore. Be sure to review the Hoya Computing News and Notices page for any current specials.

Note: McDonough School of Business students should contact the MSB Technology Center before ordering peripherals.

Institutional Purchases
First, call your Help Desk. The Help Desk will put you in touch with a system administrator who can ensure that the peripherals will function as expected and will not affect other computer users. You are required to talk to a system administrator before ordering peripherals.

Then, familiarize yourself with the University's purchasing procedures. You are encouraged to use GU purchase orders for your purchase. However, when buying computer peripherals, GU-issued credit cards may be used as an alternative to GU purchase orders. In either case, departmental funds must be available for your purchase; there is no central funding for computer peripherals.
