Faculty and Staff: Institutional: Purchasing Peripherals and Phones

  1. Before you make any purchase decision, first call the Help Desk.
    They will put you in touch with a system administrator who can ensure that the peripherals will function as expected and will not affect other computer users. You are required to talk to a system administrator before ordering peripherals.

Note: you must have already created a CDW-G personal account. If you do not have one, please click here for account creation instructions.

Please note you are encouraged to use GU purchase orders for your purchase. However, when buying computer peripherals, GU-issued credit cards may be used as an alternative to GU purchase orders. In either case, departmental funds must be available for your purchase; there is no central funding for computer peripherals.

PROCard USERS

You may purchase computer peripherals and supplies that cost less than $500 directly with your PROCard. For items that cost more than $500 you must go through the regular purchase order process. We encourage you to contact UIS if you have any questions or concerns regarding the compatibility and interoperability of the devices that you need.
