Web |
Webmail for Faculty and Staff and Hoyamail for students are the web-based ways to access your Georgetown University e-mail account from any computer with an internet connection. Using Webmail, you will be able to check your e-mail, send messages, manage your online address book, change certain options and preferences, and organize your mail by moving it into different folders or deleting it.

Thunderbird is a desktop client for use with GUMail. Thunderbird works on Windows and Mac machines. At Georgetown, most PC users use Thunderbird for e-mail.
Outlook is a desktop client you can use with GUMail. Outlook works on Windows machines only.

Thunderbird is a desktop client for use with GUMail. Thunderbird works on Windows and Mac machines. At Georgetown, about half of Mac users use Thunderbird, with the other half using Apple's Mail.
Mac Mail is a desktop client you can use with GUMail. Mac Mail works on Mac machines only. At Georgetown, about half of Mac users use Mac Mail, with the other half using Thunderbird.
