How to Use Hoyamail: Personalizing Web Clips
Web Clips shows you news headlines, blog posts, RSS and Atom feeds right at the top of your inbox. Hoyamail offers a list of feeds from popular sites (including the New York Times, CNN, and many others). Each clip displays the source from which it was received, how long ago the clip was published, and a link to access the entire story or page containing the clip.
Web Clips is enabled in Hoyamail by default, so you can see the latest clips. From your inbox, you can scroll through clips you've already seen by clicking the left arrow (<), or see new clips by clicking the right arrow (>).
To personalize the Web Clips displayed in your account do the following:
- In Hoyamail, click on Settings.

- In Settings, click on Web Clips.

You'll see a list of all the Web clips to which you're currently subscribed.

- To add a clip, do any of the following:
- Click on a topic from the list of topics to display that list of feeds (the topics that appear in the left column under Browse clips in), and then click on the Add button for that feed. (If you already subscribe to that feed, you'll see Added next to that feed.)

- Search by topic by entering a topic below Search by topic or URL, clicking on the Search button, and then clicking on the Add button next to any feed in the search results.
The feed will be added to My Clips. In the example below, "religion" was entered as the search topic.

- Search on a particular Web site for a Web clip. Just type a Web address, such as http://www.nytimes.com, in the Search by topic or URL text box, and then click Search. Click on the Add button. The feed will be added to My Clips.

Hint: If you don't get any search results entering the URL, you may get more or better results by entering variations on the URL, such as "nytimes.com", or even "ny times".

Any feeds on the site you enter will be displayed. Then just click on the Add button to subscribe to that feed. The feed will be added to My Clips.
- Remove a Web clip by clicking on the remove link next to that clip. You'll no longer receive feeds from that Web clip; however, you can always add that Web clip later.
