How to Use Hoyamail: Using Labels Instead of FoldersHoyamail doesn't use folders. Instead, you organize your messages using labels. Labels do all the work folders do and give you an extra bonus: you can add more than label one to an email. For example, an email can carry the labels "Priority" and "Follow up" at the same time, and you will find it under both labels. Labeling a message using the "Labels" button does not automatically file away the message. If you want to add a label to a message and have it moved out of your Inbox in a single step use the "Move to" button. The "Move to" button simultaneously adds your desired label to a mail message and archives the message. When searching for messages, instead of finding the folder that contains a message and browsing through that folder you can search for the message by clicking the label name along the left side of the Hoyamail page. This will show you all messages that have been marked with that specific label. For more information you can review Gmail Help at http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=118708 |
