How to Use Hoyamail: Changing Your Reply Address to Be NetID@georgetown.edu
When you send a message, netid@hoyamail.georgetown.edu appears as the "From" or "Reply To" address in the recipient's e-mail client. You can change this so that messages you send will display the return address as netid@georgetown.edu.
- Log into Hoyamail.
- In Hoyamail, click on the gear-shaped icon displayed, and then select Mail settings from the drop-down list.

- In Settings, click on the Accounts tab.

- In Accounts, click on the link Add another email address you own.

- In the pop-up window, enter your e-mail address (netid@georgetown.edu), and then click on the Next Step button. (Note: Be sure to enter your NetID, not "netid", in the e-mail address.)

- Click on the Send Verification button to have Hoyamail begin the verification process.
- Open the e-mail you received.
The content of the e-mail message should be similar to the following:
- Complete the instructions in the e-mail you received by doing either of the following:
- Enter the verification code you received in the Hoyamail pop-up window, and then click on the Verify button.

- Click on the link provided in the verification mail to confirm your request.
After you click on the link, you may see a confirmation message similar to the following:

Now when you send mail from Hoyamail, you can have the Reply-To and From address appear as netid@georgetown.edu ("sdr28@georgetown.edu" in the example below).
