Deleting a message moves the messge to your Trash folder. You permanently delete a message by deleting it from your Trash folder.

Important: Make sure you want to permanently delete the messages before you click Delete since you won't be asked first if you really want to delete the messages.

Note: You must first delete the messages (send the messages to the Trash folder) before you can permanently delete them.

  1. Open your Trash folder.

  1. In your Trash folder, select each message you want to permanently delete by clicking on the check box next to that message so that a check mark appears.

  1. Select Delete from the Delete menu. The messages you selected will be permanently deleted.

Important: Make sure you want to permanently delete the messages before you click Delete since you won't be asked first if you really want to delete the messages.
