How to Use Webmail: Options for Setting up WebMail
Webmail offers you many ways to modify how you want to set up your mail. Webmail has options for setting how you want mail messages you receive to appear, how you want messages you receive to be displayed, how to create a signature, and how to set up rules for filtering your messages.
To display the Options window, click on the Options link located at the upper right corner of the Webmail page.

Display |
Messages per page |
Set the number of messages you want to have displayed per page (default is 20). |

Most Recently Received |
Display your mail by the message you received most recently or by the messages you received first. |

Message Pane |
Displays or hides the Message Pane (the window below your message listing that displays messages you select). |

HTML Messages |
Choose whether to automatically show potentially harmful content, such as embedded images, or to be notified first if content in a message is potentially harmful. |
Rename Folders |
Rename your Sent, Draft, and Trash folders. (Note: Unless you have a critical need to do so, do not change the names of these folders.) |

Save Sent Messages |
Choose whether you want to save a copy of messages you send. If you select Yes, Webmail will place a copy of your sent messages in your Sent folder. |

Delete to Trash |
Directs Webmail to send messages you delete to your Trash folder. If you select No, Webmail will permanently delete messages you delete. |

Read Receipt |
Choose whether you want notification that your messages were opened and read by the recipients. |
Composing |
Format |
Compose Width |
Enter a value, in characters, for the desired width of your message composition window. Default is 62. |

Compose Height |
Enter a value, in characters, for the desired height (rows of text) of your composition window. Default is 15. |
|
Compose (Plain Text or HTML) |
Choose whether you want to compose your message in plain (unformatted) text or HTML (formatted text).
Note: If you compose messages in HTML, your messages will be larger size than if in plain text. Also, your recipients may choose to read your messages in plain text rather than in HTML. |

Reply |
Options for including an original message in your reply. You can choose not to include the original message in your reply, include the original message text inline (as part of your reply), or include the original message text as an attachment (in the reply, but separate from the body of the reply, similar to a file attachment). |

If you select Yes, the signature you created will appear automatically at the bottom of all your sent messages. Select No if you don't want to include your signature in every message.
Note: You can include your signature in specific messages by clicking on the Insert Signature button in the Compose window of that message.) |

Text area where you create your signature. Click Apply when you're done composing your signature.
Note: You can edit your signature at any time. |

If a message meets a condition, then any conditions the follow will not be applied to the message. |
