How to Use Webmail: Exporting Your Webmail Address Book

 

  1. Click Contacts to open your address book.

 

The Import/Export window is displayed.

 

  1. In the Export area, do the following:
    1. Select the category from which you want to export your address book. (Note: If you've previously added contacts to your Webmail address book but never selected a category for any of these contacts, then all those contacts should be under Unfiled, which is the default. You can also select All if you're not sure.)
    2. Select the file type of the file you're exporting from the File Type drop-down menu.

      Mail Client

      Address Book Format

      Thunderbird

      .LDIF (text-only format for displaying directory content)

      .CSV (Comma Separated Values; a text-only format where each field/column is separated by a comma)

      Microsoft Outlook

      .CSV

      Mac Mail

      .LDIF

      .CSV

 

    1. Click Export Now when you're ready to export your address book.

       

      1. Click Save in the File Download window.

       

      1. In the Save As window:
        1. Enter a file name for the address book.
        2. Select .LDIF from the File name drop-down menu.
        3. Click Save in the Save As window.
