GUMail Supported ClientsUIS strongly recommends that you only use the following supported clients to access GUMail:
UIS is committed to resolving GUMail issues efficiently and quickly for individuals who use a supported GUMail client. We are able to do this because UIS Help Desk Analysts and Technicians have deep experience, knowledge, and familiarity with these e-mail clients and UIS has agreements in place with the GUMail vendor to receive a high level of support in triaging issues that occur with supported e-mail clients. Further, whenever there are upgrades, changes, or outages to GUMail, UIS completes tests using each of the supported clients to ensure services are successfully running. If an e-mail client is not on the list above, it means our team does not have a strong expertise in troubleshooting the program, and that the GUMail vendor did not certify the program to work with our server. Although UIS is committed to providing best effort support for all faculty and staff GUMail issues, resolving issues with non-supported clients is more difficult, takes more time, and can not be guaranteed.
