Moving messages to the Trash folder |

Click on a message to highlight it. |

Then click on the Delete button (or press the delete key on your keyboard).
Note: You can select more than one message at a time by holding down the Ctrl key while you click. |

This will move your message to your Trash folder. It is important to remember that while the files remain in your Trash folder, they continue to take up your e-mail quota space. If you don't want them taking up space, you must either permanently delete them, or move them to a local mailbox. |

Deleting messages from the Trash folder |
- Click on a message in the Trash folder, then press the delete key on your keyboard. This will completely, irrevocably delete the message.

- If you want to delete all messages in your Trash folder, click on File, then click on Empty Trash.
- This will remove all the messages in your Trash folder.

- After you've deleted messages from your trash, you must compact your folders to make sure the space is freed up.
- Click on File, then click on Compact Folders.
