How to Use Thunderbird 3: Deleting a Contact from Your Address Book

 

1. In Thunderbird, click on the Address Book button.
   
   
   
   
   
   The Address Book window is displayed.
   
   
   
   
   
2. Select the address book from which you want to delete the contact.
   
   
3. Select the contact you want to delete. (Note: You can select multiple contacts at a time by holding down the Ctrl key (Windows) or the Command key (Mac) while clicking on the selected contacts, and then releasing the Ctrl key when you've selected all the desired contacts.)
   
   
4. Click on the Delete key.
   
   
   
   
   
   Important: Make sure you want to delete a contact before you click on the Delete key since Thunderbird won't ask if you're sure you want to delete the contact.
