HOW TO USE OUTLOOK 2003 WITH GUMAIL: ADDING A CONTACT TO YOUR ADDRESS BOOK

 

Background: Your Outlook 2003 address book allows you to store and access personal contact information. Unlike the electronic Georgetown Directory, you can edit the data that you store in the Outlook 2003 address book.

To add a person to your contact list

 
  1. Click on Tools, then click on Address Book

 

  1. This will bring up the Address Book window.
 
  1. Click on the New button (it looks like a card).
 
  1. Double-click on New Contact.
 
  1. Fill in the person's Name and E-Mail fields. 

    Note: If the person has more than one e-mail address, Click on the down arrow, then type in the second address (repeat as necessary).

    Note: If you want to, fill in the phone numbers, address, department, etc. Click on the Details tab to record more information.

 
  1. When you've entered all the information, click on the Save and Close button to add the entry to your address book.
