- You can get the Mozilla Web browser from the UIS Software Database; download the installation file to your computer.

- Double Click the Mozilla installation file.
|

- This will bring up a Welcome window; Click on the Next button.
|
|
- You'll be asked what type of setup you want.
|
|
|
|
|
- Click on Complete (a black dot should appear next to it). Click on the Next button.
|
|
- When asked if you want to create a directory, Click on the Yes button.
|

- You'll be asked if you want to activate Quick Launch.
|
|
|

|
|
- Click on the Next button.
Note: Do not click on Use Quick Launch for faster startup times when possible (a checkmark should not appear beside it). |

- When the Start Installation window comes up, Click on the Install button.
|
|
- If Netscape is installed on your computer (if you are using a Georgetown University computer, it probably is), you'll be asked if you want to base your new Mozilla profile on your existing Netscape profile.

|
- If Netscape is set up to use GUMail, and you are sharing your computer with other Netscape users: Click on the Manage Profiles button, Click on the profile with your NetID to select it, then Click on the Start Mozilla button.
- If Netscape is set up to use GUMail, and you have just one profile on your computer: Click on the Convert Profile button.
- If Netscape is not set up to use GUMail: Click on the Manage Profiles button, Click on the Create Profile button, Click on the Next button, Click on the Finish button, then Click on the Start Mozilla button.

- When the installation is finished, you'll be asked if you want to make Mozilla your default browser.

- The choice is yours; Click the Yes or No button and the installation will be complete.
