- If the Mail program is not already open, open it.

You can open Mail by clicking on the Mail icon in your dock. |

You'll be asked for your password. |
|
- Type your University NetID password.
- Then click on the OK button. This will open your GUMail Inbox.

- If you are not asked for your password, click on the Get Mail button.

Click on a message to open it. (Unread messages will appear with blue dots beside them.) |

The Mail program will automatically check for new mail periodically. If you want to check for new mail manually, click on the Get Mail  button. |
