HOW TO USE MAC OS X MAIL (10.2) WITH GUMAIL: USING MAIL GROUPS

Creating a new group
Adding new cards to a group

Creating a new group

  1. Click on the Address Book icon in the control panel.
  1. This will bring up the Address Book panel.
  1. Click on the plus (+) button beneath Group.
  1. This will bring up an empty field; Type the name of your new group then Press the Return key on your keyboard.

Adding new cards to a group

  1. Click on the group to highlight it.
  1. Then create your new card (see Adding a Contact to Your Address Book if you need help with this). When you click on the Edit button, your new card will be added to the highlighted group.

Moving existing cards to a new group

  1. Click on the card that you want to move (this will highlight it).
  1. Then Drag the card to the new group.

Deleting cards from a group

  1. Click on the card that you want to delete (this will highlight it). Then Press the delete key on your keyboard.
  1. You'll be asked if you're sure you want to do this; Click on the OK button.
