Server vs. Local storage
You can save your mail on the GUMail IMAP server, or you can save your mail locally (see Understanding Local Mail if you want to learn more about this). |

Your local mail folders are under On My Computer; folders for mail stored on the GUMail server appear under GUMail. |

Creating Folders |
- If you want to create a new folder on
the server, click on GUMail to highlight it.
- If you want to create a new folder for
your local mail, click on On My Computer to highlight it. |

- Click on the down arrow beside the New button, then click on Folder.
|

- This will bring up the New Folder panel. Give your folder a name, then click on the Create button.

Moving Messages |
- To move a message from one mailbox to another, just click on the message and drag it to wherever you want it to go.
