Rachel Kidwiler, Assistant Vice President, Research Information Systems and Program Director, Research and Regulatory Compliance Systems

Rachel Kidwiler is responsible for the Research and Regulatory Compliance Systems (RRCS) group within the Office of Information Services. The RRCS group works with the research community at Georgetown University to identify and implement applications that support administrative and regulatory compliance needs of the university?s research activities.

Rachel joined OIS in December, 2007 with more than 15 years of experience working in informatics, application development and life cycle management for software development and implementation projects. In her previous position as Vice President of Clinical Informatics Services for CTIS, Inc., she was responsible for ensuring project delivery excellence across CTIS projects in the clinical informatics area - with a focus on clinical trials research management solutions and solutions to facilitate regulatory compliance. While working with CTIS, Inc. she managed projects for clients including the National Cancer Institute, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), Novartis Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, and Georgetown University Medical Center.

Ms. Kidwiler holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
