As Associate Director of Technology Support Services within Academic and Information Technology Services (AITS), Jacalyn Banks oversees the development and management of the service teams that deliver direct desktop computer, telecommunications, and localized server support to over 4000 people at Georgetown University's Main Campus and Medical Center.

Jacalyn previously spent time at the American Psychiatric Association (APA) managing daily operations of the IT department and acting as the technical project lead in the creation and support of the enterprise data management systems servicing 40,000 members of the psychiatric community. Before working at the APA, she served as a U.S. Air Force Officer at the Occupational and Environmental Health Laboratory at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Jacalyn received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park, and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Information Technology Management at American University.
