William Anderson

William
Anderson manages the Support Services division of University Information Services.
He took on this role since fall of 2002 and is active in implementing education,
documentation, and outreach activities that promote the use of information technology
at Georgetown University.
Working in close collaboration with the University
Help Desk, Student Technology
Services, and Technology Support Services (desktop support), William identifies
the training and documentation needs of Georgetown's faculty, staff, and students.
He works with Support Services staff to evaluate new technologies and develop
effective ways of deploying them on campus. Through Hoya
Computing, he also evaluates and implements license agreements with software
and hardware vendors to obtain the best products and best value for users.
William started with UIS in June of 2000 as Product Rollout Coordinator for
the Main Campus. Before joining UIS, William worked in the Office of Student
Financial Services as Coordinator for Federal and Supplemental Loan Programs.
William is a graduate of Georgetown's School of Foreign Service (1995).
