Discounted AT&T Cell Phone Plan Now Available at Georgetown

Georgetown students, faculty, and staff are now eligible for discounts on AT&T Wireless cell phone service.

The discounted plans are available to both new and existing AT&T customers.

A dedicated AT&T Wireless Web site is available for this new program, which offers discounts on phones, plans, and special promotions.

Some things to keep in mind:

• The discount is only available for individual personal accounts. Institutional accounts are handled through Purchasing.
• You'll need to use your Georgetown e-mail address to take advantage of the discount.
• You may need to provide proof of status as a student, faculty, or staff member.
• If you are not an AT&T customer and wish to switch to AT&T from your current cell phone carrier, be aware that cancellation penalties may apply. Talk to your current carrier regarding its cancellation policy.
• You will need to contact AT&T Wireless directly if you encounter any problems related to phone service, your phone, or billing.
