GuestNet Wireless Network: Getting Started with a Macintosh OS X Computer
Requirements
- Macintosh computer with OS X
- Apple AirPort wireless network adapter card
Before you buy an AirPort card, check to see if you already have one. Most newer Macintosh laptops have built-in AirPort cards. If your laptop is not AirPort-compatible, you may be able to use another brand.
Install the Wireless Card
If you need to install a new AirPort card, follow the setup instructions that came with it. OS X should automatically detect and install the necessary software.
Configure Macintosh OS X to Connect to GuestNet
- Click on the wireless icon at the top of your screen (if this doesn't appear, see There's no wireless icon).
