TROUBLESHOOTING A NETWORK CONNECTION ON A PC

Here are the answers you've given so far:

1. Can you access a network service?:YES

( I want to change this answer)

YES, I can do one of those things.

If you can use even a single one of these network services, it means that the network is running and that your computer is able to communicate over the network.  The trouble you are having is likely due to problems with a particular service, or services.

Try this:

  • Check for reports of scheduled or unscheduled outagesinvolving the service you are unable to access.  If you find a report, it means that UIS is aware of the situation and will restore service as soon as possible.
  • If you don't find any reports of a scheduled or unscheduled outage, contact your Help Desk to report your problem.
