Netscape stores copies of frequently used Internet files in a special folder called a cache. Storing these copies helps some Web pages load faster, but if your cache becomes too full, it will actually slow down your connection instead of speeding it up. |

Netscape.

Clickon
Netscape, then
clickon
Preferences.

- This will bring up the
Preferences window.

|
- On the left-hand side of the panel, beneath
Advanced,
clickon
Cache. (If you don't see Cache,
clickon the
triangle beside Advanced.)

Clickon the
Clear Memory Cache and the
Clear Disk Cache buttons.
|
|
- Make sure
Disk Cache is set no larger than about
20 MB.

Clickon the
OK button.
