You can check your e-mail from off campus using a desktop client (such as Mozilla Mail or Outlook) or with a Web-based client (Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Safari). If you want to use a desktop client, you will have to install it and set it up to use GUMail. If you don't want to set up a desktop client, you can still get your GUMail by using a Web-based client. |

- Make sure your client is set up to use GUMail.

|
- Open a GUExpress connection (or connect to your ISP).
|
|
- Open your e-mail program (client) and start using it (just as you would on campus).
|
|
|
|
Using a Web client (Messenger Express) |
- Open a GUExpress connection (or connect to your ISP).
|
|
- Open your Web browser.
Note: You can use Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Safari, or a number of others, but whatever browser you use must support Secure Socket Layers (SSL) and must have javascript enabled. |

- Go to the GUWebmail page and Click on Log into GUMail.
|
|
- Enter your University NetID and password when prompted.
