Setting up and using GUExpress on Windows 2000

Part II: Connecting to Georgetown

If you are not using Windows 2000, use the buttons on the left to choose the operating system you are using.

Once you have created a dial-up connection and connected to Georgetown, you can Launch Netscape Communicator and use the Internet or access your GUMail account just as you would from your office computer. While using GUExpress, you may sometimes find it convenient to work offline.

Connecting to Georgetown with Windows 2000
  1. After creating a dial-up connection, if you created a desktop icon, Double Click on it.
If you didn't create an icon, Click on the Start button, then Click on Settings, then Network and Dial-up Connections. Double Click on Georgetown University.
  1. Beside User name, Type your University NetID.
  1. Beside Password, Type your NetID password.
  1. Make sure the phone number is 202-333-5609.
  1. Click on the Dial button.
