Setting up and using GUExpress on Mac OS X

Part I: Creating a new dial-up connection

If you are not using Mac OS X, use the buttons on the left to choose the operating system you are using.

Once you have created a dial-up connection and connected to Georgetown, you can Launch Netscape Communicator and use the Internet or access your GUMail account just as you would from your office computer. While using GUExpress, you may sometimes find it convenient to work offline.

  1. This will bring up the Network configuration screen.

  1. Make sure Internal Modem is selected, then Click on the TCP/IP tab.
  • Beneath Domain Name Servers, Type 141.161.100.201, Press the Enter key, then Type: 141.161.200.201

You have now created a dial-up connection for GUExpress; see Connecting to Georgetown if you need help connecting to the University network.
