What kind of computer should I purchase? 

UIS has configured several standard computers that are sufficient for almost all users.

Computer users may choose from one of several models—HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, or Apple computers. We recommend a laptop to ensure you can work from multiple locations (e.g., home, office). For information on these models, please visit our approved standard computers. If you are not sure about your options or if you have technical questions, please contact the appropriate help desk.

How do I purchase computers from Staples?
